· USP 541 Public Participation, Diversity and Ethics
· Either
USP 549 Regional Planning and Metropolitan Growth Mgmt*
or USP 594 Planning in the Pacific Northwest* or USP 595 Reshaping the Metropolis*

Methods Sequence:
· USP 531 Geographic Information Systems for Planners
· USP 533 Planning Methods I
· USP 535 Planning Methods II
· USP 584 Negotiation in the Public Sector (can be taken second year)

Analytical Sequence:

· USP 515 Economics: Applications to Urban Studies
· USP 525 Design Analysis in Planning
· USP 553 Legal Processes in Urban Planning

Year 2
· USP 558 Planning Workshop**
· USP 559 Internship/Planning Practice Workshop

 

*Students are required to take either USP 549, USP 594 or USP 595.
** Students are required to complete all core courses prior to enrolling in USP 558.
