Transportation Certificate
To Apply:
Applications to the Certificate program are accepted at any time during the year. Applicants should submit two (2) packets, one to the PSU Office of Admissions and one to the PSU School of Urban Studies and Planning.
Packet 1, for the PSU Office of Admissions:
1. Sealed transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended.
2. $50 fee
3. Completed Departmental Graduate Certificate application form

University Minimum GPA requirements
For applicants with 0-11 credits of graduate work, the cumulative undergraduate GPA must be 2. 75 or higher for admission.
Applicants with 0-11 credits of graduate work and cumulative undergraduate GPAs between 2.50 and 2.74 may be considered for conditional admission only, at the discretion of the department.
An applicant with 12 or more graduate credits must have a cumulative graduate GPA of 3.0 or higher, and this GPA supersedes the undergraduate GPA
Length of Program:
The Graduate Certificate in Transportation is a 21-credit-hour program. You may complete it in one year on a full-time basis, or over two years on a part-time basis. The Certificate includes courses from the Nohad A. Toulan School of Urban Studies and Planning (USP) and the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering (CE) in the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science.
