MURP Course Planning Guide

MURP Field Area Pathways

What follows are pathways, by MURP field area, for staying on track to graduate in two years. This involves having all core courses done before the start of the winter term of the second year, and satisfying the field area core requirements, or requirements where choice is extremely limited. Note that not all field area requirements are shown, USP 559 is not shown, and that there are other possible solutions to this “puzzle.” These pathways should be used as a starting point in the discussion between student and adviser, and should not be regarded as required paths.

Notes:

· Classes and scheduling may change for 2007-08.

· You need to average 12 credits per quarter to graduate in two years (6 quarters). Don’t expect to take a large load your last quarter to make up for taking fewer credits earlier in the program.
