High Schools - Coordinator profile

Darryl Kelley joined us two years ago as a 9-10th Grade Educational Advisor for ETS and Upward Bound. Darryl holds a B.A. in Speech Communications from Linfield College where he was a first generation college student. He has experience working with TRiO-like students. Darryl ensures that 9th and 10th graders are receiving early information about careers, college admissions, and financial aid via field trips and college visitations. 

Jason Young currently works as the Portland High School Coordinator, serving five High Schools in the Portland School District. He has ten years experience working with TRiO-like students. He teaches ETS/UB summer classes and workshops. Jason graduated from Western Oregon University in 1995 with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. He came to ETS and UB with extensive experience working with adolescents in social services. Jason was both a low income and a first generation college student.

    Hello Everyone! My name is Brenda I am one of the UBETS 6-10th Grade Coordinators, also serving 20 UB students. I attended Benson HS         graduating in 2001. I then attended Portland State, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education with a Certificate in Chicano/Latino Studies in 2006.
