Advising for Undeclared/Exploratory Students

*Attention Freshmen:
All admitted freshmen (including those who are transferring credits) are required to receive academic advising from their intended major department/program within their first year at PSU. Students who are still exploring their major choice are assigned to an adviser from the Undergraduate Advising & Support Center (UASC). Freshmen will be contacted by their assigned UASC advisers with instructions on how to make an Exploring Majors advising appointment. Students are also welcome to contact the UASC.
*Please note: ALL students wishing to discuss changing their major may contact the UASC for an appointment with an adviser. Take a look at the Exploring Majors link for more information.
What you'll need for your Exploring Majors appointment:
1. Fill out the Exploring Majors Self-Assessment Form to the best of your ability.
2. Call us at 503-725-4005 for your appointment.
