Permit Types

Term Permits

Recommended for students coming to campus several days per week. There are many options to accommodate student schedules; don't be caught without a permit while parked on campus! 

Purchasing a term permit online is recommended since many types sell out before the term begins. Permits are available for registered students to purchase online about one month before the next term begins. Permits purchased online can be charged to a student's tuition account and will be mailed to you before the term begins. Permits may also be purchased in-person by registered students at Transportation & Parking Services at 1812 SW 6th Ave, in the ASRC.

Academic Year Permits

Recommended for students who will likely have the same or similar schedules through the entire academic year. May be purchased during Fall term, and is valid Fall, Winter and Spring terms. This pass offers no discount and is the same price per term as the term permits, but offers convenience for students who will be attending classes each term. One pass is issued, which is used throughout the academic year. Students' tuition account will be charged each term for the pass unless it is returned to Transportation & Parking Services. No refunds are issued unless the physical pass is returned.

Permit Refunds

Parking permit charges are based on possession of the permit, rather than use of the permit. There is a $5 return fee for all returned permits. Refunds are issued at a pro-rated amount based on the date the permit is returned. Parking permit refunds are not issued during the last two weeks of each term. Refunds will be credited to the student's university account or to the credit card used at the time of purchase.

Account Privacy

All account information including name, contact, license plate, permit history, citation history, and account balances are kept private by PSU. This information is only used for business purposes and is not disclosed to individuals other than the account holder. A valid account number, license plate, or citation number must be provided in order to obtain any of the information listed above, or information deemed private to the account by PSU staff.
