The following courses will transfer towards PSU requirements within the Political Science major. This is a shortened list for general reference. For more information on how other courses may transfer, visit Transferology, a web-based advising system.
It is important to know the age group and subject you want to teach because those will be a big factor in picking your major.
Elementary Education (Kindergarten through 5th Grade)
Students can choose any major but should have a solid foundation in the multiple subjects you will be teaching, including science, math, social science, language arts, and health. Some major options include: Child, Youth, & Family Studies, Social Science, Art & Letters, or Liberal Studies.

Notes and Benchmarks
- While these courses meet the degree requirements for PSUs LIB 428, the credits transferred will not count toward upper-division credit requirements at PSU.
- Students interested in transferring to PSU for Pre-Elementary Education should also take courses to satisfy the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science requirements (see below).
