Programming & Events for Transfer & Returning Students

The Transfer & Returning Student Resource Center (TRSRC) offers a wide variety of programming, workshops, and events for prospective and current transfer & returning students each term.  We partner with departments and resource centers across campus focusing on skill-building, community, and resource knowledge.

With Winter term quickly coming to a close, take a break from studying for finals and come visit our space! Meet our team face-to-face and enjoy some doughnut holes and hot beverages! Bring your own reusable coffee mug to be entered into a drawing from the TRSRC!

It’s Bring Your Kids to Campus Day! Join Portland Children’s Musician and PSU Graduate and Transfer Student Matt Lynch for a fun singalong and dance party!  Tallulah's Daddy plays fun, energetic, interactive music for kids of all ages and their families!

Join the Outdoor Program and other transfer students at the Campus Rec for an introduction to the Climbing Center. Drop in anytime during the event, or arrive at 4:30 p.m. for introductions and an overview of the space.

TRSRC Virtual Values

The TRSRC offers a variety of virtual events specifically designed for prospective and current transfer students, as well as students returning to education after a break. All are invited and welcome! We ask that anyone accessing our TRSRC events agree to adhere to our TRSRC Virtual Values.

  1. The TRSRC is committed to maintaining virtual spaces that are inclusive and respectful to all participants.
  2. Be mindful of others in the room and leave space for others to talk and share. 
  3. PSU’s substance policy remains present during virtual events. You will be removed from the event for any substance use while accessing this tool.
  4. We do not permit any kind of nudity during TRSRC events. You will be removed for any nudity. 
  5. Recording is not permitted in the TRSRC’s virtual events unless the host specifies that the event will be recorded.
