AUDITIONS FOR the 2008-09 Season
Auditions for Theater Arts productions are open to all PSU students regardless of major and/or class standing. Auditions usually take one of two forms, auditioners will be asked to read from the script, or auditioners will be asked to prepare a short audition piece. Performance dates and audition Call Back times are posted with the audition details. For Mainstage Auditions, scripts are placed at the Reserve Desk in Millar Library approximately four weeks before auditions are held. FALL Mainstage Auditions - Sept 29 - Oct 1, 2008 THE TRIUMPH OF LOVE by Pierre Marivaux - adapted by Stephen Wadsworth to be presented by the Dept of Theater Arts, November 20-29 at Artists Repertory Theater PREPARE: two (2) contrasting monologues (comedic/dramatic) Also recommended (but not required): one of the two be classical. If your monologues are not memorized come anyway. If you do not have a prepared monologue, we’ll work something out. BRING: Headshot (formal or informal) and resume. SCRIPTS available for check out in the Millar Library. SPECIAL NOTE: Positions also available in dramaturgy, assistant direction, and stage management. If you have tumbling, juggling or French language skills (i.e. you can read & translate fairly fluently) contact the director. CAST LIST IS NOW POSTED IN THE GREENROOM!
