AUDITIONS FOR the 2009-10 Season

Auditions for Theater Arts productions are open to all PSU students regardless of major and/or class standing. Auditions usually take one of two forms, auditioners will be asked to read from the script, or auditioners will be asked to prepare a short audition piece. Performance dates and audition Call Back times are posted with the audition details. For Mainstage Auditions, scripts are placed at the Reserve Desk in Millar Library approximately four weeks before auditions are held. SPRING Mainstage Auditions - March 9 - 10, 2009

Moliere’s THE IMAGINARY INVALID
Directed By Glenn Gauer
An Oregon premiere, this is a wild and prickly new translation by Constance Congdon with a sprinkling of song and dance!
Performing in the WINNINGSTAD THEATRE at the Portland Center for the Performing Arts, from May 28 to June 6

FABULOUS ROLES for 3-4 women & 5-6 men
Audition Dates: MONDAY March 9 7–9:30 pm MCB 123
TUESDAY March 10 4-6 pm MCB 123
Call Back Date: THURSDAY March 12 4-6:30pm MCB 123

Actors should present a scene from a comedy with a partner or a comic monologue not to exceed four
minutes. You can be off book or read from the script. Auditioners may be asked to read from The Imaginary Invalid script. An audition sign up sheet is on the Theater Arts bulletin board outside of the lounge, MCB 130V. Be prepared to cite any conflicts for Spring Quarter.

Scripts are available at the Reserve Desk in the Millar Library until the auditions.
