Many students want to increase successful life habits but feel overwhelmed and wonder where to begin. You may have general ideas about what is needed (e.g. I procrastinate, I have test anziety, I need to manage my time more effectively). Next, break these areas down into manageable goals.

Virtual Pamphlets Many topics include study skills, writing skills, assertiveness, ADHD, disabilities, time management, and anxiety.

Living with ADD The supportive website that focuses on the person, not the disability. It provides resources, such as coaching, classes, and articles related to ADD. Also available through the site is an active forum for people with ADD to discuss related topics.

Help for ADHD The comprehensive AD/HD resource that includes a wide variety of information including everything from myths and misunderstandings to the causes of ADHD. If you have a question about ADHD this may be where you want to look first!

National Center for Gender Issues and ADHD This organization that promotes education on the differences in ADHD across gender. Specifically, this website offers information and support for women with ADHD who may have been misdiagnosed or misunderstood. It also provides resources and links to current research on the topic of women with ADHD.

LD OnLine There is information for both LD and ADHD. For instance, they cover self-advocacy, social skills, and adults with LD.
LD OnLine offers information and resources for children and adults who have learning disabilities and ADHD. The site features hundreds of helpful articles, monthly columns from noted experts, personal essays, a comprehensive resource guide, a set of active bulletin boards, and a Yellow Pages referral directory of professionals, schools, and products.

National Research Center on Learning Disabilities This provides current research, publications, and presentations on learning disabilities.

Learning Disabilities Association of America This organization provides support for people that learning disabilities affect and cutting edge information on learning disabilities, practical solutions, and a comprehensive network of resources.

An online community for those that learning disabilities affect will help you gain knowledge about learning disabilities, discover new teaching and educational tools, share information and experiences, and contribute to a greater understanding.

Association on Higher Education and Disability AHEAD is the professional association committed to full participation of persons with disabilities in postsecondary education.

Americans with Disabilities Act This offers a guide to disability rights and laws, including a booklet that provides a brief overview of 10 federal laws that protect the rights of people with disabilities and provides information about federal agencies to contact for more information. It touches on specific issues such as mediation programs and employment seeking information for people with disabilities.
