A free public lecture series at Portland State University resumes January 11 with the theme of ecosystem services. Ten speakers will explore economic solutions to sustain the vital services nature provides our region.

The weekly Solutions Seminars, presented by the Institute for Sustainable Solutions at Portland State, will be held Wednesdays through March 14.

The lectures will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. in the Shattuck Hall Annex, SW Hall Street and Broadway, and are free and open to the public. They will also be streamed live via the website of the journal Solutions, which is housed at the Institute.
