Resources:

For staff and faculty:

  • The PSU Green Team Program involves faculty and staff in working to make their departments more sustainable.

  • How to get started greening your department or office. Thanks for your help making PSU a sustainable University!

Epler HallBroadway bldg eco roofWith over 50 academic, residential, administrative, office, and recreational buildings spread across 47 acres of Portland's urban center, Portland State University has a unique relationship with its surroundings. Nearly 28,000 students make use of PSU's facilities each year, in addition to over 3,000 staff and faculty, and many more community members. In doing so, we require services that we might never think about (heating & cooling buildings, mowing lawn, waste and recycling collection), consuming vast resources (water, electricity, natural gas, food), and leaving a lasting impact on our ecosystem, community, and campus infrastructure (roads, buildings, grounds, trees).
