Fellows of the Institute for Sustainable Solutions

Fellows of the Institute for Sustainable Solutions are distinguished leaders in sustainability scholarship and practice. Fellows consist of Faculty Fellows, Community Fellows, Visiting Fellows, and Student Fellows. They represent different aspects of sustainability scholarship, from transportation planning to architecture; from the climate effects of aerosols to public policy. The Fellows work with ISS to create a focal point for inter and transdisciplinary sustainability research, teaching, service, and outreach at PSU. 

Faculty Fellows

Members of the PSU faculty who collaborate with ISS on a regular and ongoing basis. An application process is necessary. These are 2 year renewable appointments.

Visiting Fellows

Individuals from outside PSU that interact with ISS over some defined period of time. An application process is necessary. For example, a non-PSU faculty member on sabbatical may be given this title, but Visiting Fellows need not be physically present at ISS.

Student Fellows

Students attending PSU who collaborate with ISS on a regular and ongoing basis. An application process is necessary. These appointments are valid through a student's tenure at PSU.
