Environmental Sciences and Management
Environmental studies are central to the mission of Portland State University, which serves the state's major urban center. The Environmental Sciences and Resources program offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees.
The graduate program offers Master of Science (MS), Master of Environmental Management (MEM), Master of Science Teaching (MST) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees.

Portland International Initiative for Leadership in Ecology, Culture, and Learning (PIIECL)
The overall goal of PIIECL is to develop a world-class, cutting-edge program for regular higher education students, school teachers, and members in the community who are already at work to make this world livable, sustainable, bio-culturally diverse, and socially just.
The PSU Graduate School of Education Department of Educational Policy, Foundations, and Administrative Studies (EPFA) offers a Master of Arts or Master of Science in Education degree with a specialization in Educational Leadership. Within this area of specialization one can choose the Leadership in Ecology, Culture, and Learning (LECL) theme. The LECL theme serves students who are dedicated to developing leadership in sustainability education and the regeneration of nature, cultures, and communities.

Mark O. Hatfield School of Government
Master of Public Administration
The Division of Public Administration offers a professionally oriented program that focuses on the study of government, health, and non-profit organizations and their management. The Master of Public Administration (M.PA.) focuses on preparing students for administrative positions in governmental and nonprofit organizations. It is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA).

School of Business Administration
Master of Business Administration
The MBA+ is a two year full time and 2 1/2 year part-time program that recognizes the value of technical skill mastery and leadership competence in tomorrow's business leaders. Unlike any other MBA program, the MBA+ places dual emphasis on the hard and soft skills of successful business management, and integrates the two skill sets in its core curriculum. And it does so within the context of managing for innovation and change, values inherent in the Northwest economy.

Master of International Management
The PSU MIM program provides you with international as well as general business skills, proficiency in a foreign language and an understanding of political and economic environments in which global business leaders work. Both full-time and part-time programs are available.

Urban Studies and Planning
The School of Urban Studies and Planning is the nation's oldest continuously operating instructional program in urban studies. Beginning with an undergraduate certificate in 1959, the School now offers a bachelor degree in community development, master degrees in urban and regional planning and urban studies, and doctoral degrees in urban studies and urban studies: regional science. Understanding metropolitan regions and their problems, and analyzing policies to shape their evolution and overcome obstacles are major concerns of the School's degree programs.
