In February 2011 Megan became the first Inclusive Rec Student Coordinator at Campus Rec. It’s her job to help create an environment, events, trips, and sport opportunities that are inclusive. This includes coming up with adaptations to make sure every aspect of the Rec Center is accessible and comfortable for those with disabilities. Megan enjoys being part of the Campus Rec team and especially loves that the Rec Center isn’t just for fit people staying fit. It’s for everyone, including those that are just beginning their adventure with physical recreation. As a native Oregonian, Megan loves to hike and camp, but her true passion is horses. She’s been competing as an equestrian exhibitor since she was seven years old. She currently has five horses and hasn’t missed a day of riding in several years.
