Profile

My name is Martin Rodriguez. I am currently a junior at Portland State majoring in Physics. My interests involve space travel and research and propulsion and dynamics in microgravity. My goal is to become an astronaut and be involved in space research. I want to contribute my physical discoveries to the annals of human knowledge and better the lives of my fellow beings. I wish for my life and the lives of others to always be filled with wonderment and excitement of the physical world and the beautiful planet on which we just happened to end up. Space is a big place, and despite the tiny effect we could ever have and the minute fraction of it we will ever see, we must be compelled by the unknown to explore and search, that we may better know even this infinitesimally small dot on which we live. Man has only been in space for half a century. We have not even scratched the surface.
