Karin is the Office Coordinator for the Geography Department and provides administrative support to geography's graduate & undergraduate degrees and the Graduate Certificate Program in Geographic Information Systems.

Karin grew up in the Pacific Northwest; Oregon, Washington & British Columbia.  She has earned two degrees at PSU, and was the first to graduate with a Master's degree from the Conflict Resolution program.  She ran an inter-agency mediation program for four years before returning to PSU in 2006 to coordinate the Geography Department.  As an avid world traveller, a dedicated recycler and lover of nature, she has definitely found 'her people' amongst the geography faculty and students. 

Karin has a daughter who is now a PSU student, and an amazing grand-daughter. She also sings with a band called Out of Folkus.
