Amy Oliveria is the newest addition to the Career Center and serves as the department's Marketing and Outreach Graduate Assistant. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication from the University of Portland, and prior to working at the Career Center, she was the Communications Coordinator for the Home Builders Association of Metro Portland. Her role at the Career Center involves creating flyers, posters, and brochures, managing social media portals, writing press releases, helping with job fairs, and promoting events.

Amy is currently a graduate student in PSU's Counselor Education department and hopes to work with couples, married individuals, and families if she manages to survive the stress and intense self-analysis the three-year program requires. Her interests include deep conversations over a cup of joe, reading Pride and Prejudice annually, watching romantic comedies while drinking wine and eating dark chocolate, and beating her wonderful boyfriend at card games.
