Shelly Chabon wins award for volunteerism
Shelly Chabon, Speech and Hearing Sciences faculty, was chosen out of 135,000 members to receive the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's Dorothy Dreyer Award for Volunteerism. This award acknowledges a member who has made significant and outstanding volunteer contributions to the association and has served as a model of volunteerism to others. Chabon received the award Nov. 20 at the association's annual convention.
