Profile

Susan Carlile, MA, teaches in PSU’s Initial Administrative Licensure program. Previously, she was the director of curriculum and instruction for the Tigard-Tualatin School District. Under her leadership, the school district won a major grant for school change at the high school level. She has also been a middle school assistant principal and principal, an assistant high school principal, and a high school activities director. She spent nearly ten years studying, traveling and working in other countries and states, including Sierra Leone, West Africa, as a Peace Corps volunteer.
