Culminating Experience

In June of the first year of graduate school, each student will select the culminating experience option that best suits their interest and skills. The three culminating experience options are:

• thesis
• special project
• comprehensive exams

Thesis and special projects often include research participants. Including participants in your research requires institutional review board (IRB) approval. You can find out more about working with research participants and human subjects research and review committee application form here.
