Admission

Admission to PSU as a post-baccalaureate student is a simple and non-competitive process.  Students can print the post-baccalaureate application and submit the completed application with the application fee and original transcripts from all university and community colleges attended to the PSU Office of Admissions.  Students do not need to apply directly to the Speech and Hearing Sciences Department for the post-baccalaureate program.  Once admitted to PSU, post-baccalaureate students may register for courses.

The Preferred Application Deadline for beginning the post-baccalaureate coursework in the Fall Quarter is June 1.  Students can apply after that date, but will not be able to register until after their application is processed.

Students who plan to take the prerequisites on a part-time basis can apply to PSU as a Quick Entry student.  This involves printing and completing the Quick Entry Admission Form and submitting a small application fee.  Students do not need to submit transcripts for Quick Entry.  Students who are admitted by Quick Entry Application can take up to 8 credits per term.  If a student starts as a Quick Entry Applicant and then wants to take more than 8 credits, s/he must complete the regular post-baccalaureate application process at that time.
