Certificates of Completion
There is no formal admissions process to enroll in Autism Certificate of Completion program series. See program web page for information about prerequisites and terms each course is offered.
- Autism Spectrum Disorder Certificate of Completion provides advanced, specialized training based on best practices for individuals who work with children with autism spectrum disorders in early childhood through high school. The curriculum addresses the wide range of competencies that are necessary for the provision of effective educational programming for students who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. - Curricula for Learners with Autism Certificate of Completion is designed for special educators, autism specialists, speech therapists, and others who want to increase their knowledge of the STAR and FACTER curriculum or who are working with children in classrooms that implement these programs. - Understanding Asperger's Syndrome and High Functioning Autism Certificate of Completion is a 12-credit online program providing a framework for understanding Asperger's syndrome, high functioning autism, and other diagnoses including pervasive developmental disorder not otherwised specified (PDD-NOS) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Topics include diagnostic issues, educational implications, and programming recommendations. Open Enrollment (no application required)

Graduate Certificate
Fall start; Application deadline is February 1.
Some credits can be used to complete the elective requirement in the Master's degree.
- Infant Toddler Mental Health: A Relationship-based Approach is designed for professionals who are working with families who have children from the prenatal period to 36-months of age. This program is appropriate for professionals who are mental health, special education, child welfare social service providers; home visits; teachers; child-care providers; and health care professionals.
