Students taking five or more credits at PSU have access to the PSU Dental Service. It is also available to students who are part-time and have paid the Student Health Fee. For those students that do not have access to the PSU Dental Services, below are various places within the community that offer dental services. Some clinics offer low cost or sliding scale services.

The Emergency Tooth Doctor, open 7 days a week, provides everything from preventative care to your emergency needs. They do not charge a premium because they are an emergency clinic. However, they are still a full service general practice. The clinic accepts payment in cash, check, Visa or MasterCard, and most Major Commercial Insurance. For those that do not have dental insurance, ask about their 0% interest Easy Pay payment plan.

This is a referral line for Multnomah County community dental clinics. One must meet income requirements in order to receive services. Fees are on a sliding scale based on family size and income.

Fees: Up to $135 for first visit, including cost of visit and x-rays (usually 30-40% less than the community). Additional fees will be quoted at the time of visit.
Oregon Safenet

The Oregon Safenet is a hotline available for women, children and teens. They are a health and human services information hotline with listings for low-cost medical and dental services and a variety of other social services available in the Portland community and statewide.
