Portland Bridges to Baccalaureate

Bridges to Baccalaureate is a program federally funded by the US National Institutes of Health charged with increasing the diversity of highly trained, biomedical research personnel dedicated to investigating and alleviating health disparities.
Portland Community College and Portland State University, partnered to form the Portland Bridges To Baccalaureate (PBTB), support this nationwide endeavor through recruitment and preparation of PCC college-transfer students from underrepresented groups or health disparities populations for successful completion of baccalaureate degrees leading to research careers in the Biomedical, Behavioral and Health Sciences.
PBTB offers:

· Academic and professional networking
· HE 299 Seminar: Topics in Biomedical, Behavioral, and Health Sciences (1 credit)
· Assistance with PCC/PSU Dual Enrollment
· Financial Aid Guidance
· Discipline Specific Advising
· Peer Student Mentoring
· Family Events
