Dr. Mildner is an Associate Professor in Urban Studies and Planning and teaches in the areas of urban economics, housing economics, public finance, cost-benefit analysis, political economy, poverty and welfare, economic development. His research is focused on the economics of local government, including growth management, rent control, municipal sports stadiums, housing markets, land use regulation, and urban transportation. Dr. Mildner obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from New York University and holds a B.A. in Public Affairs from University of Chicago.
