Dr. Shung Jae Shin earned his Ph.D. degree in Management (concentration in Organizational Behavior/ Human Resources Management) at Texas A&M University. He has an MBA degree from University of Sydney in Australia, and a B.S. degree in Psychology from Seoul National University in Seoul, Korea. He joined the School of Business faculty in 2011. Before joining PSU, he taught at Washington State University for 8 years. He teaches courses relating to organizational behavior at undergraduate level at PSU.
His main research areas are employee creativity at work, leadership, human side of corporate mergers and acquisitions, and cross-cultural studies. His studies have been published in leading academic journals including Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of International Business Studies, Academy of Management Learning and Education, and Journal of Management Studies. He currently serves as a principal reviewer for Journal of Applied Psychology.
