Employers interested in hiring graduates of PSU business programs and in promoting their company have a variety of recruiting and outreach options.

Job Posting

The School of Business Administration offers a free job posting service to employers seeking to hire undergraduate or graduate business students. Email your position announcement to Becky Einolf at beckye@pdx.edu and the School of Business Administration will ensure that your opportunity is promoted to business students and recent alumni in the appropriate programs.

Information Sessions and Lobby Time

Employers seeking to increase awareness of their company among business students are welcome to conduct information sessions any time of the year. A 30-40 minute presentation is a great way to provide students with an overview of your company and the career opportunities available to business students.

Another very effective low-tech-contact method to conduct student outreach is to staff a table in the school's lobby and catch students on their way to and from and between classes. It's all about location, location, location.

Student Organizations

Many business students participate in chapters of professional business organizations. These organizations can provide employers with valuable opportunities to target their outreach efforts. Visit the student organization directory for contact information.

PSU Campus-wide Career Information Day

This annual event is hosted by the University Career Center during the Winter quarter, providing employers with an opportunity to meet with undergraduate and graduate students from all majors. The center also hosts events for nonprofit employers and student/summer jobs.
