Ken Houseman earned a B.S. in Computer and Information Science from the University of Maryland in 2004 while serving in the US Air Force. In 2006 he graduated from Portland State University with an MBA focused in Operations and Supply Chain Management. Professionally, he has collected 8+ years of experience in operational customer service organizations, including 4 years of US Air Force training in Air Traffic Control systems. Currently, he is managing the quality assurance department in the Tualatin, OR, manufacturing campus of Novellus Systems. He is also a current member of the Project Management Institute as well as the American Society for Quality. Formally, he was enrolled in the PhD System Sciences program but is currently applying for the PhD program in Engineering Technology Management. His current research interests are in Operations Management, primarily focused in implementation of policy regarding quality controls and systematic improvements. |
