For 15 years, Enrique Washington worked in human resources and recruiting for Mentor Graphics, Nike, Pixelworks, FLIR Systems, and New Edge Networks. He has enhanced hiring effectiveness for companies with interview training and instruction on selection methodologies. He was a key partner in building Generator Group's Consumer Products presence in the Outdoor Industry space. Mr. Washington's other accomplishments include participating in the 1995 Olympic Festival Track Field Team, being named a Track Field All-American while in college, and being one of America's top recruiters by US Black Engineer magazine. He also finds time to teach Human Resources Management and Staff and Employee Selection classes at Portland State University. He also teaches in the Portland State Management Certificate Program. He holds a BS in marketing and an MS in corporate and public communication from Seton Hall University. Additionally, he serves on the board of the Answer to Cancer organization and Big City Mountaineers. Mr. Washington likes to take long runs everyday and can often be found spinning soulful jazzy house music at local hip parties on weekends.
