Raised on a family farm in Washington County. Graduated Oregon State (BS - Honors) and Stanford (JD/MBA). Captain US Army (Vietnam). Staff at Federal Reserve Board and Chase Manhattan Bank. Partner at two Investment Firms in New York City.  Adjunct Faculty (SBA Finance) since 1992. Investor/Consultant-real estate, small business and securities. FINRA arbitrator and mediator.  Enjoy fishing, gardening and outdoor recreation, especially in the Columbia Gorge where I live. Member and volunteer to various organizations to include the Columbia Gorge Commission (2000-2008), Columbia Hills Partners and Citizen's Utility Board of Oregon Chair 2007--).  Member, American Federation Teachers.
