"A Kabuki Classic: The Medicine Peddler" ~Performing Kabuki in English~

Summer workshop students play a performance of the "aragoto" ("bravura acting style") kabuki play "Uiro Uri" ("The Medicine Peddler") about a samurai who goes in disguise to attack his father's murderer at a banquet. Performed in English with choreography from the traditional kabuki.
