Please join us for a discussion of recruiting for faculty and staff diversity, retaining new colleagues, avoiding practices that inadvertently act against building faculty and staff diversity, and maintaining a welcoming departmental workplace. Our goal is to facilitate collegial discussion of diversity issues within Portland State's departments and programs.

As of September 2007, the Office of Academic Affairs requires that one member of each Portland State Search committee has participated in a DAHRT training. This is a good opportunity for those in your departments who haven’t had a chance to attend to become DAHRT trained and meet new colleagues.
