Private Swimming Lessons
Description
A private swimming lesson is a dedicated 30 minute block of time with a certified instructor. During that time, participants will work with their instructor to meet personal goals. All swim levels are encouraged to participate. We will match participants with the best suited instructor for their individual needs. Participants and instructors may set up lessons during any Lap Swim or Open Swim time. Benefits of private swim lessons include, but are not limited to, dedicated one-on-one attention, scheduling flexibility, and the ability to work on multiple aspects of swimming in a short time. Private lessons are perfect for those focusing on improving stroke technique, endurance, overcoming fear, and beginning swimmers.
How to Register
To register for group lessons, go to the Member Services Desk in the Academic & Student Recreation Center (1800 SW 6th Ave.).

Private lessons are $15/lessons for members. Private lessons are not currently available for non-members. However, membership eligible individuals can choose to purchase a day pass to use the facility and take advantage of private swim lessons.
