Campus Rec provides a flexible fitness program that is especially convenient for Portland State students: both residents and commuters who want to exercise on their own schedule.

* The Cardio Circuit Room and the Weight Room are open to students to use free of charge. Check the Campus Rec web-site for open hours.

* GroupX are group fitness classes that are fun, challenging and appropriate for all fitness levels. By purchasing a fit-pass at a nominal fee participants will be able to pick and choose from a variety of classes that are offered from our drop-in program.

* Personal Training with a certified personal trainer at reasonable rates -- not those crazy rates you'll find at private gyms.

 

Group Fitness Summer Schedule

This program provides you access to a wide variety of activities led by certified instructors. From endurance to strength, our programs are designed to work for you!

Getting Started

  1. Review the schedule and pick out the classes that work for you. Classes are all drop in, so you can come to any class you want whenever you want. You don't have to sign up for a particular class, and you aren't obligated to keep coming to the same class. The same ticket works for all of our classes.
    • Your first class is always FREE, so if you want to try one out before buying tickets, just show up!

  2. Purchase a yellow ticket in the Peter Stott Center Locker Rooms. Prices are:
    • 1 class: $3
    • Package of 5 classes: $12.50
    • Package of 10 classes: $17.50
    • Passes purchased now expire June 30, 2008.
