Women Only Climbing Every Thursday from 3-5pm (starts 4/10).
Never climbed before? Learn how to belay! We offer belay school Monday and Thursday from 5 pm to 7pm. We ask that you register one day in advance for this class. The cost is $5.00/person. The class is free for monthly, term, and annual pass holders.
Bouldering Basics Class: Tuesday 5-7pm (open to everyone) and Wednesday 5:30-7:30pm (women only). This class will help you learn the basics of efficient climbing movement and technique. Please register one day in advance. Free for monthly, term, and annual pass holders.
Are you hosting a special event? The Climbing Center is available for rental by the hour (2 weeks advanced notice, please).
First time in our gym? Try it out for free.

Climbing Center Frequently Asked Questions
Who can use the Climbing Center?
All currently enrolled PSU students, faculty, and alumni. The public may climb at the gym, but must pay a Stott Center access fee in addition to the climbing gym day pass ($10 for public).
Can I rent out the Climbing Center for a party?
Yes, call us at 503.725.6807. We will talk to you about your needs and schedule a date (2 weeks advanced notice, please)
Can my child climb here?
Yes. Children age eight and over may climb in the center when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Any minor that has yet to reach their sixteenth birthday must be accompanied by an adult to climb in the center.
Can I bring a friend if he/she is not a PSU student?
Yes, they must pay the non-student fee of $10/day to the Climbing Center and a $7 fee to the Peter Stott Center.
Do you provide gear?
Yes, we have climbing shoes, harnesses and belay devices for free check out.
Yes, the ODP Climbing Center uses the V rating scale. We typically have routes set from V0-V5
