Campus Rec Student Coordinator Leadership Series

To meet the Campus Rec goal of fostering student employees’ academic and career achievements by creating the expectation of balance between workplace and academic success and increasing career preparation, Campus Rec has created the 2011-12 CREC Student Coordinator Leadership Series.  This leadership opportunity will provide Campus Rec student coordinators an opportunity to develop their leadership skills, create connections with other student leaders within Campus Rec and to receive professional development to help them in current and future employment.  

During the first year of the program, the series will consist of three Campus Rec workshops and three campus wide professional development events.  Student Coordinators are required to attend 4 of the 7 events with at least one being a CREC Workshop (the full day Student Leadership Conference counts for two events) which will be paid.  Students may choose to attend more than 4 if they choose to do so.

    Friday, January 20th 10:30am – 3:30pm Student Leadership Conference (2 events)
    Friday, February 3rd 3:00pm – 6:00pm CREC Leadership Series Workshop II – Career Building
    Friday, May 4th 3:00pm – 6:00pm CREC Leadership Series Workshop III - Diversity
    Friday, May 25th 12:00pm – 1:30pm Student Leader Launch Lunch
