Dragan Milosevic believes that being a good manager means learning to work with people in an effort to help them excel.
Dragan Milosevic, Professor in PSU's Engineering and Technology Management Department (ETM) is from the old world but he devotes his life to creating new ways for companies to manage technology. Educated in Belgrade, Serbia-Montenegro (formerly Yugoslavia), he brings private sector project design and management skills to PSU.
Milosevic is an expert in project and program management, strategic planning, and team building, so it's only natural that he likes working with students.
He believes that "a good manager knows how to work with people to help them to excel." His goal is to show students how to understand and apply best practices to everything they do. "Our students know second best is never good enough."
Project and program management is at the center of Milosevic's life as a teacher and researcher. He and his students are working to develop standardized project management methodologies. "Students in ETM are exposed to very practical research that matters to companies, because our results help firms improve their performance. This goes right to their bottom lines."
