Keith Powrie


Keith (he/him) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at SHAC and has been a full-time staff member since 2018. Keith has made Oregon his home for the last 25+ years, living, working and traveling all over the state. Keith earned a B.A. in History from Oregon State University and a Master of Social Work degree from Portland State University. Keith has been working in social services and in various therapeutic roles since 2011. In the past, Keith has had roles working with children/families in community mental health, school-based positions, crisis response, and time working with teens exiting the juvenile justice system. 

Keith’s clinical interests include working with excessive worry, anxiety, and low mood. Keith often informs his work by exploring how historical context might be impacting current concerns. Keith integrates primarily Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness and some Acceptance and Commitment techniques in his work. 

Keith enjoys cycling, traveling the state of Oregon and beyond, corralling his dog Max, occasional gaming and spending time with family and friends.
