Katie Sinback is the Office Coordinator for the Portland State University School of Film. She has worked at Portland State University in various capacities since 1998, including Assistant to the Vice Provost for Enrollment and Student Services, Coordinator of the Tutoring Center, and academic advisor. Katie is a published writer of essays and short fiction. Her work has appeared in The Rumpus, Southern Humanities Review,, and Taco Bell Quarterly among other publications. Her essay "I Was Never Here" was selected as a 2021 Notable Essay in The Best American Essays 2022.
