Carly Wagner


Carly Wagner (she/her) is a psychology student intern at SHAC during the 2024-2025 academic year. She has a BS in Health Sciences from the University of South Florida and a MS in Psychological Sciences from the University of North Florida. Currently, she is a 4th year doctoral clinical psychology student at Pacific University. Carly has gained clinical experience with diverse client populations in various settings, including a public hospital in Kenya, a community mental health clinic, an intensive outpatient clinic, and a neuropsychological assessment clinic.

As a clinician, Carly utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach (e.g., cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and relational-psychodynamic) rooted in person-centered therapy. Her clinical interests include anxiety, OCD, attachment and interpersonal relationships, self-compassion, and trauma. She is excited to work with the emerging adult population during such a transient time.

Outside of clinical work, Carly is passionate about engaging in outdoor hobbies, such as rock climbing, backpacking, and snowboarding. She loves connecting with nature, people, and animals. Carly values continuous growth, learning, and authenticity.
