Teaching and Training
The following courses involving Geographic Information Systems and Science are regularly offered by PSU faculty as a part of the Master of Urban and Regional Planning curriculum:
"Geographic Data Analysis and Display" (USP 531)
"Geography Applications to Planning" (USP 543)
Additionally, PRC faculty have developed and taught courses in applications of GIS for population studies, community development, urban studies, and business administration at the upper undergraduate and graduate levels.
PRC faculty have experience in offering one- and two-day workshops on utilizing GIS for analysis and mapping of census data. Please contact us for details.
