The Population Research Center can provide limited assistance for surveys on a
cost reimbursable basis. Assistance with phone and in-person interviews are
available from other organizations, including Portland State University’s Survey
Research Laboratory, University of Oregon’s Oregon Survey Research Laboratory, and
various private firms that conduct surveys.
The Population Research Center conducts small-scale surveys,
usually as part of larger research activities. In recent years, staff have
designed and conducted mail surveys for parents of children in Head Start
programs. Center staff have also designed surveys of immigrants, parents of
school-age children, and residents in mobile home parks. If you have a request
