Surveys

The Population Research Center can provide limited assistance for surveys on a fee basis. Assistance with phone and in-person interviews are available from other organizations, including Portland State University's Survey Research Laboratory, University of Oregon's Oregon Survey Research Laboratory, and various private firms that conduct surveys.

The Population Research Center conducts small-scale surveys, usually as part of larger research activities. In recent years, staff have designed and conducted mail surveys for parents of children in Head Start programs. Center staff have also designed surveys of immigrants, parents of school-age children, and residents in mobile home parks. If you have a request for a study to be conducted on an at-cost basis, please contact us.

The Population Research Center is open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and is located in Room 780 of the Urban Center, 506 SW Mill. The mailing address is Population Research Center, Portland State University, Post Office Box 751, Portland, Oregon 97207-0751.
