Out-of-State Orientation Programs

We will take our Orientation program on the road and host Orientation programs at the locations listed below. These are one-day sessions for first-year or transfer students. These sessions are specifically targeted towards out-of-state student populations who may not be able to make it to one of the summer Orientation programs in Portland.

Programs on the Road:

  • June 2: Pleasanton, California

Programs will last from approximately 9 am to 5 pm. Confirmation, with further details, will be sent via e-mail to your PSU e-mail address.

Reserve your space in an Orientation: Advising and Registration Day

Follow these steps to sign-up for a session listed above:

  1. Create your PSU Computing Account:
    You will first need to create your Odin, or PSU computing, account. To get started, read the instructions on your letter of admission or, for help, call 503-725-HELP(4357).

  2. Intent to Enroll and Advanced Tuition Deposit:
    Before you may sign into the Orientation online reservation system, you must first submit the Intent to Enroll form along with a $200 Advanced Tuition Deposit (ATD). Your $200 advanced tuition deposit will be applied to your first tuition bill that is mailed in mid-September. Once your Intent to Enroll form and advanced tuition deposit is received, you will then be able to sign up for an Orientation session.
    *Please note that students who are part of our co-admission program may not need to complete this step.

  3. Sign up for an Orientation: Advising and Registration session:
    Space at these sessions is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Log into our online reservation system with your PSU ID number which may be found on your letter of admission. If you cannot locate your PSU ID number, call 503-725-3511.
