Viking Days
September 17-23, 2012
Viking Days is Portland State University's opportunity to welcome new students into the campus community and kick-off each academic year prior to the start of fall term. These days are designed to help new students connect with the academic, cultural, and social opportunities at PSU by meeting other students, developing friendships, and getting involved. This program also provides an opportunity to satisfy any outstanding tasks prior to the start of classes.

During Viking Days, there are several events intended for all new PSU students to enjoy. This section will list all Featured Events once the full schedule becomes available.
Party in the Park
Immediately following Viking Days, plan to participate in Party in the Park on Thursday, September 27. Party in the Park draws thousands of new PSU students to the Park Blocks for a day of free food, entertainment, networking, and information about campus activities. To learn more, visit:
Submit a Viking Days Event
Campus deparments, student groups, and other organizations affiliated with PSU are encouraged to submit events for Viking Days! The deadline for event submissions is August 1. To learn more and submit an event, visit:
