Undergraduate Leadership Awards

(formerly known as Scholarly and Creative Activity Grants for Undergraduates)

This undergraduate initiative is designed to encourage students in every discipline across the campus to be involved in substantive ways in scholarly or creative activities with a faculty member. The emphasis of this initiative is to provide a high quality experience for undergraduates by introducing them to the research or creative paradigms and practices of a discipline through close working relationships with faculty. McNair Scholars Program

The Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program at Portland State University (PSU) works with motivated and talented undergraduates who want to pursue PhDs. It introduces juniors and seniors who are first-generation and low-income, and/or members of under-represented groups to academic research and to effective strategies for getting into and graduating from PhD programs

General University Scholarships

Many additional scholarships (academic departmental scholarships) available at Portland State University can be found and applied for individually by searching the Scholarship Database. General University Scholarships also include those scholarships which focus on:
