This on-line database allows access to student records (Student Information System-SIS), budgetary records (Financial Information System-FIS) and Office of Human Resources records (Human Resources Information System-HRIS). Faculty are encouraged to participate in SIS training sessions but are reminded that under federal and state student record laws, they must have a legitimate educational purpose to review student records and that there are severe restrictions on disclosure of student records. Unauthorized access to Banner is prohibited and network traffic may be monitored in cases of unauthorized access.

Benefits and Insurance

New employees should contact the OFFICE OF HUMAN RESOURCES (302 University Services Building, 5-4926) to obtain a benefits packet containing information on medical, dental and retirement plans. You have 60 days from the date of employment to enroll in medical and dental plans. The plans become effective the first of the month following the date forms are submitted.

Bookstore

Butler Award

The Butler Award is given annually to recognize excellence of library service to students, faculty, and other patrons of the Branford P. Millar Library. The award was established through an endowment by Professor Emeritus Kenneth W. Butler and his wife, Elsie W. Butler. Nominations are solicited by the Office of Academic Affairs each spring.
