WVDO is a partner of The Nonprofit Institute. They offer several professional certificate programs and we encourage you to get more information about their education and training opportunities on the WVDO website.
Applications are now open for our Certificate in Nonprofit Fundraising course! This ten-month program starts in September and is capped after sufficient participant numbers are met, so you’ll want to get your application ready ASAP.
The Certificate in Nonprofit Fundraising, offered in partnership with Portland State University, is the only comprehensive nonprofit fundraising program in Oregon. Intended for anyone from absolute beginners to mid-career professionals, this course combines classroom and practicum knowledge to accelerate the fundraising learning curve and provide a deep understanding of every phase of the fundraising process.
Participants in the Certificate in Nonprofit Fundraising can earn 100 points towards their CFRE.

This nine-week tactical deep dive into the fundamentals of grant writing starts in October and is capped after sufficient participant numbers are met, so you’ll want to get your application ready ASAP, so you’ll want to get your application ready ASAP.
The Certificate in Grant Writing, offered in partnership with Portland State University, is intended for anyone interested in gaining experience in nonprofit grant writing. Participants in the program will gain a deeper understanding of the fundraising landscape, learn practical grant writing, and gain real-world experience as you write a proposal.
Participants in the Certificate in Grant Writing can earn 45 points towards their CFRE.

An eleven-month program focused on practical knowledge, strategy, and expert coaching to increase the impact of nonprofit leaders. Next class begins: January 2020.
This six-month program, offered in partnership with Portland State University, provides practical skill-building grounded in leadership theory for nonprofit professionals who want to up their management game. Learn to manage people and projects with skill and finesse, create culture change in your organization, and practice the art of true team leadership.
